The richest peoples in the world have a staggering amount of wealth which sometimes equals the GDP of small countries. Many of the billionaires like Bill Gates  Microsoft founder, Mark Zuckerberg founder of Facebook and Jeff Bezos founder of Amazon are self-made billionaires those who turned their ideas into money. While some of the billionaires own their inherited businesses but their control over the company led them to an overwhelming amount of money. The fact is that many billionaires donate their much amount of money to charity. 

Some billionaires vowed to donate half of their wealth to charity. As Forbes reported, there are 2,200 billionaires in the world till yet and this number is still expected to grow more. According to Forbes, most of the billionaires are from Tech or they are investors ore they own inherited businesses. Find out below how and why these peoples get rich.

 

1) Jeff Bezos:



Jeff Bezos founded a company named “Amazon”. Yes, being the richest man on this planet is because of his Amazon. This company is about online shopping and e-commerce. This 53-year-old CEO of Amazon founded his company in 1994 when he left his job from New York hedge. In the start, an online book retailer operated Bezo’s garage in Seattle. Now, Amazon is the largest online shopping platform on this planet till yet. 

According to CNBC worth of Amazon is about $430 billion. Bezo’s purchased the Washington post in 2013 and also owns a space company named “Blue Origin” for $250 million. Amazon also bought the grocery store in June for approx. $13.7 billion named “Whole Food”. Bezo’s parents, Mike Bezos and Jackie operate a foundation which supports youth education named “Bezos Family Foundation”. The net worth of Jeff Bezos is $112 Billion.

2) Bill Gates:




Bill Gates born in 1967 and he used his computer when he was a kind in a school. After 8 years Bill Gates and his copartner founded Microsoft in 1975. Bill Gates was the Microsoft CEO and Chairman till 2000 then he was the largest shareholder of Microsoft till 2014. Now Bill Gates is a member of the board and also serves as a technology adviser for Microsoft. Bill Gates and her wife Melinda Gates operate the world largest charity foundation. 



This foundation was launched in 1999 which focuses on ending infectious diseases in the world which includes malaria and others. Bill Gates other than Microsoft is a public figure who vowed along with Mark Zuckerberg and Warren Buffet to donate his half of the wealth to charity to encourage other billionaires.  His charity foundation focuses on health and development issues in the world. The 61 years old Bill Gates also introduces a list of his favorite books each year.
